This place is both historic and very well managed. Gananoque is a beautiful little town, and staying at this place was a special treat. I wish I could stay longer.
What a great place to stay at the entrance to the Thousand Islands area. Very hospitable hosts that went above and beyond to make our stay as stress free as possible. Excellent selection of foods for the breakfast buffet with both hot and cold selections. The hosts also provided directions for scenic side trips on our way to Montreal which we took and thought were great additions.
Loved everything! Garden patio, parlour, breakfast, lovely room and wonderful service from Liam. We could walk every in town, no driving required.
Avoid! This is a place that rests on it's laurels; the place is dirty and poorly kept. All history and no investment in the property for upkeep. Staff are incredibly polite whilst the owner is another story!
Stayed in the lock up. Nice private apartment. Close to many stores and restaurants.
