This was our second time staying at The Gananoque Inn & Spa - and we fell in love with the place all over again!Dinner at Muskie Jake's this time, exceeded expectations and breakfast at the Watermark was quite satisfying! (see location on Google Maps for review & photos)On this visit, we spent the night in the Honeymoon Suite - loved the view! So comfortable king bed, wing-back chairs flanked the fireplace. The bathroom had a double wide jacuzzi, so spacious. Loved the brass fittings!Can't wait to come back again!
7 October 2018 We had a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Watermark restaurant in the Inn. Not only was the meal fantastic but service from our server and the hostess was exceptional to say the least. Both went out of their way while the place was packed. Easy to recommend.
Went for lunch as I have other times I visited Gananoque. The food service is a bit slow but there is a sign at the front that explains why. The servers are terrific and very attentive....thanks Melissa. When you get your food you find it's worth the wait. Their patio is totally covered with a great view of the Saint Lawrence River. The cost of the food was reasonable. Whether you're visiting Gananoque way or just passing through it's a great place to stop have good food and rest.
Cute older Inn on the water in Gananoque. Great location for boating and walking around town. Staff were friendly at check in. Common areas are comfortable. Room was nice, but not really clean. For example -multiple long hairs in the shower, spiders in the bathroom, spider webs with dead bugs in the tops of the window, used dental floss on the bathroom floor. Room was quite pricy for what it was in my opinion. We are in both restaurants on site. Both were good.
On a yearly basis we visit this area to see theater which is fantastic.The restaurant nearby however is in need of staff who are friendly and professional and the food is less than desirable.We ordered finally through the bartender 2 ceaser salads that seemed to be missing the dressing and garlic bread with cheese that had no taste.Nice area right on the water.Could be a fantastic spot with the right management and staff.
