We had dinner here on Sunday, 8 July 2018. What a stunning place this is. The inside is absolutely gorgeous, but we were blessed to be able to sit on the patio. It is equally as gorgeous as the inside so lovely and we love being outdoors. Our server was amazing ... informative, made great recommendations, attentive, efficient and personable. We had muscles and Caesar sale as appetizers. Both were excellent. Two of us had the rib steak entree and the other had pasta. All meals were excellent. The bottle of Shiraz was also extremely good. My only regret is not getting our servers name to tell management how awesome he is.
Just an absolute great experience! From the minute we walked in to paying the bill - great!The menu selections are all very wonderful, something for everyone. Around our table dinner ranged from handmade seafood pasta to perfectly made gnocchi, to my deliciously made pan-seared fresh walleye.You could tell that everything was made with love - from the wonderful seasoning of each dish to the beautiful presentation of each plate. There was not a speck left on anyone's plate!Then dessert - the cheesecake was creamy and delicate, the mousse was light and fluffy and absolutely full of flavour. The specialty coffees were made hot and delicious.As you might see, we enjoyed our night at Rivas... You will too. You will not regret stopping by.
What a fantastic place...so beautiful. The food was superb and the staff couldn't do more. They were excellent. I would recommend this place for sure. Hope to come back someday!
I'm only giving this a 3 star because of the service. .....the food that is, once we finally were finally served was great. We arrived at 8pm without reservations. We were seated at the bar and decided to eat there. No one seemed to notice we had even arrived? We were not asked for our beverage order and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. The staff seemed overwhelmed. They all had grumpy faces and no one seemed to be having any fun. I believe we had 4 people serving us and if we wanted anything we would have ask as opposed to being asked.I was disappointed not in the food but rather the lack of service or friendliness.
Seriously great food and service. We split the chicken mushroom pasta, very yummy... and pizza outside. So nice by the water fountain! Best meal and service I've had in a very long time. For 2 with tip and lots of wine $80. SO worth every penny. I'd definitely recommend!!!
