Very impressed. Came with a group of 20 hikers and they did a great job serving all of us in dining area we had all to ourselves.Schnitzel was fantastic!! Tasted both the chicken and the pork. Both great. If I had to choose again I would go with the pork.Oh, and I almost forgot, I had the Black Dog beer from the Gananoque brewing company. Very dark, very tasty and very high alcohol..all good.
Amazing food. I enjoyed the Maple Leaf Special burger and it was by far the best restaurant burger I have ever had. We also ordered the Chicken Olympia and it was incredible. We will absolutely be back!
HUGE disappointment! My husband and I went for lunch based on website menu. It has clearly changed - prices are now substantially higher. I would be embarrassed to charge the restaurant prices for the "child size" portions we received. My husbands (dry) bacon cheeseburger (approx. $16.) was little more than a slider size, the bacon consisted of a half slice and the fries were minimally proportioned. My schnitzel was bland and again, the fries were a very small portion (frozen, not fresh I would add). I requested a glass of water with lemon which was served in a juice size glass and the lemon was about the size of the top of my thumb. We have no problem paying for good food and love to dine out locally. We will definitely not return to Maple Leaf nor could we refer anyone based on our experience. We weren't approached to see if our meal was acceptable during or after, nor were we offered dessert at the end of our meal. I can't say, other than today, that I've ever had to return home to cook a meal to supplement my dining out. I do hope Maple Leaf owner has a serious look at the current rip off operation.
Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Best Czech food in North America. Goulash is so good and like I had in Prague. Schnitzel is amazing. Desserts are just yummy. Have never been disappointed with any visits and will definitely be returning.
Great atmosphere on the patio! Really loved the fern wall and tall fencing that made it cozy feeling.Filling. Tasty. Satisfied.Loved the borsch, and the Prague Schnitzel - too full for dessert :( but I would have enjoyed some! They looked good!
